Shawlian check

I actually hate pink… exception being a shade that I call old rose. This is not old rose, this pink. But then I’m not making this shawl for myself, but for someone who likes pink way more than I do.
Pattern: Glam Shells / Yarn: Some pink cotton.

My tragedy! I first knit this pattern with green alpaca/silk, got about halfway, frogged (twice). Then tried greyish green merino, it just DIDN’T work. Happened to find mysterious blue yarn and it was perfect. Unfortunately one skein I found wasn’t quite enough. The end is so near and I don’t really know what I should do. Frogging is something I really really really don’t want want to do… I’m going to recheck the closet, if there happened to be bit more and I just didn’t notice it first time.
Pattern: Monica / Yarn: mysterious blue something, maybe rayon…

I think I was suffering from mild form of startitis and I just had to start something, so I casted on Aeolian and only yarn I had in hand that spoke to me in same language as Aeolian was quite old Novita’s crocheting yarn (100% mercerized cotton) that I have two skeins, so it should be enough. The colour is perfect.
Pattern: Aeolian / Yarn: Novita’s Virkkauslanka (crocheting yarn)

I agree I think you have a case of Startitis here. But it is so much fun. Glam Shells is also on my list if I can get the hang of lace work, though I am going to do it with fingering weight yarn, lol.
Very very pretty on all of them, Hanna.
This is so amazingly beautiful! I love the colors you have chosen. And I am with you on the pink - I don’t usually like it at all, but some shades are nice, like the one that you have chosen.
