A thing I really hate in knitting

I like knitting. I don’t mind purling. YO, SSK, SLK2TOGPSSO etc are all fine for me. But oh my bind off really depresses me. It’s not that I’m sad about finishing a work, oh no. No, no, no. It just that it takes forever. You’ve been knitting these rows that take like hour (from me at least) and then the last row, the bind of row takes twice as long. At least it feels like it, I really should time it… Knitting shawls has taught me patience or it has helped me to find that particular trait inside me. Binding off truly tests this rather surprising part of me, patience that is. And today I learned new way to torture myself… I mean to bind off. It even creates especially beautiful end result. PICOT BIND OFF.

A question: Is there a part that you really hate in something that you love?

Sadly, I don’t know anything at all about knitting…beyond what I’ve learned in bee*chat. However, I do have a pet peeve when it comes to my writing - Writer’s Block. :P I’m going through a severe case right now. :(
