Ravellenics 2012
I wonder if I dare to mention Olympics in same post with Ravelry. Ah well I take risk. For those who don’t know (Ravellenics Games](http://www.ravelry.com/groups/ravellenic-games-2012) is well you could say it’s kind of a giant knit along happening during the Olympics. I wasn’t going to participate originally and atm I feel I really should have started planning like ages ago. Nevertheless yesterday somehow it happened that I ended up joining in one of the Ravellenics teams (Good Without God -team). Start date is 27th July and I am now frantically pondering what to knit and how much I dare to spend money in new yarn and does my stash have anything usable. (I should really do little stash clean up either way.)
So far I’m planning to participate to sweater triathlon (with ITO - 50er Top) and hat dash (with Caroline) events and maybe to shawl sailing. I have plenty of cobweb linen I’d like to use in my stash. I am rather excited! :D

This sounds like a great idea. Something I would definitely participate in… if I knew how to knit something else than socks and mittens :D actually, scratch that last part… I can only knit socks :D
